The ancestors of the founder moved from the present Tsushima city in Aichi prefecture to the land of Gifu, and ran a dumpling teahouse called "Tsushimaya" in Ota-juku, Nakayama-do, but started sake brewing as Watanabe Sake Brewery in 1893. That is the roots of Miyozakura Brewery Co., Ltd.

Successive brewers sought high-quality raw rice, and the third generation, Eisaburo Watanabe, not only made every effort to improve the quality of sake, but also made a great contribution to the sake industry and others. He was awarded the Medal with Dark Blue Ribbon, the Medal with Yellow Ribbon, and the Order of the Sacred Treasure.

Naoyuki Watanabe, the fifth generation of the predecessor, has consistently pursued delicate and meticulous sake brewing with the humanity of Minokamo in order to realize high-quality sake that "doesn't get tired of drinking and is forever memorable." , Also contributed to the development of the area of Minokamo City.

Suddenly, the current sixth generation, Hiroe Watanabe, who received a tasuki at the young age of 29 and took office, is struggling every day with a determination of unrelentingness in the sake industry where consumption continues to be sluggish.
